Chris Brown Predicts Next Album Will Be His Biggest

Though the case against Chris Brown for the alleged assault on Rihanna earlier this year continues to play out in Los Angeles courtrooms, a friend of Brown's says the singer is doing his best to move forward and concentrate on work. "Chris is Focused, says songwriter Robert Allen, who is working with Brown on his upcoming album, Tentatively titled Graffiti. "He knows how to deal with whatever is going on and is willing to do what he has to do to please his fans." To do that, Brown plans to bring a different vibe to his music. "It's not particularly just R&B," says Allen, who has worked on songs with Brown in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. "Chris is trying different things and experimenting. We've been making things really eclectic. The direction of this album is really fun and free spirited. It's like a collage." Brown, who had been keeping a low profile for about three months, recently broke his silence in a YouTube.com video, in which he declared, "I ain't a monster." Brown is happy and ready for this next album to break through and make a big impact. He wants this to be his masterpiece. He's predicting this will be his biggest album.

Black cop killed by White officer: Horror in East Harlem as Off-duty rookie is shot while pursuing suspect

An off-duty rookie cop chasing a suspected car thief in East Harlem with his gun drawn was shot and killed Thursday night when an officer mistook him for a criminal. "Police! Stop! Drop it!" cops from the 25th Precinct shouted at Omar Edwards, 25. The officer involved in the shooting is white, Edwards is black and had no visible NYPD identification on him, it was unclear if Edwards identified himself."This is always a black cop's fear, that he'd be mistaken for a [suspect]," His father couldn't fathom how such a fatal mistake could happen. If a police officer sees someone with a gun, you don't just fire without asking questions or trying to apprehend the person," said Ricardo Edwards, 72.If the person was firing at a police officer, I understand. One dejected cop said Edwards just became a new father. He took some personal time so he could take the baby to North Carolina to meet his folks. Edwards' mother, Natalia Harding, said her son had just married his girlfriend, Danielle Glen, last month at City Hall. They have two kids - 11/2-year-old Xavier and 7-month-old Keanua. NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Edwards, who had been on the force less than two years and worked out of a Manhattan housing unit, had left work about 10:30 p.m.

Keri Hilson is a certified freak, and isn't afraid to let everybody know either. Recent performance at the WaMu Theater in New York City, where she and her dancer simulate sex right on stage. As you can see, her dancer gets to touch it from the back, spank her, and even get the spread eagle view. All i can say is WOW!!! It definitely doesn't look like a show for kids. You can see how the performance went down in the clip below, at around 2:05 minute in:

Birthday Blessings

Instead of counting candles, Or tallying the years, Contemplate your blessings, As your birthday nears. Consider special people Who love you, and who care, And others who’ve enriched your life Just by being there. Think about the memories Passing years can never mar, Experiences great and small That have made you who you are. Another year is a happy gift, So cut your cake, and say, "Instead of counting birthdays, I count blessings every day!"

T.I. asks for two-week delay in beginning sentence

Atlanta rap star T.I. will have to report to a low-security prison in Arkansas on Tuesday. On Friday, U.S. District Judge Judge Charles A. Pannell Jr. denied the rapper’s motion to delay reporting to prison. On Thursday, lawyers requested extra time to petition the federal Bureau of Prisons to house the rapper in a minimum security prison camp instead of the detention facility. “There is nothing more we can do pre-reporting,” said Donald F. Samuel, the rapper’s lawyer. “We think he was scored the wrong way.” T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., is scheduled to report to the Forrest City Correctional Institute on Tuesday. On Friday, Samuel said he plans to continue to ask the federal Bureau of Prisons to re-classify the music star once he is detained. T.I. will receive no special treatment and will be treated just like the other inmates, said Capt. R.D. Weeks, spokesman for the Forrest City prison. “Unless there is a need to alter, we operate normal Bureau of Prisons’ procedures,” Weeks said. T.I. will be housed with another inmate in one of 12 cubicle-style units, Weeks said. The rapper was sentenced to serve a year and a day for illegal firearms possession and being a convicted felon with a firearm. He was arrested Oct. 13, 2007, just hours before he was to receive two awards at the BET Hip-Hop Awards ceremony in Atlanta. He was taken into custody by federal agents at a Midtown parking lot for trying to buy machine guns and silencers. In Thursday’s court filing, T.I.’s lawyers said the rapper should be allowed to serve his time in a prison camp. He was assigned to go to the Forrest City facility because he had a prior offense that was designated to be a serious violent felony, T.I.’s lawyers said. But the prior offense did not involve a weapon and “amounted to little more than a ‘scuffle’ at a mall,” the motion said.
