Help Keep The New York Public Library Open!!!!

We are in the final days of budget negotiation between the Mayor and City Council. There is so much on the line staff positions and days of service.If you have not already done so, please send a letter to your Council Member and the Mayor and urge restoration of City funds to the New York Public Library. And ask your "friends and family" to write too --- we want to have 10,000 (there are over 8,000 already) e-mails sent to elected officials by Friday. Log on to nypl.org where you can quickly and easily make your voice heard. You can go to any New York Public Library in Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Queens.
